I think that bullet point image is a great way to capture what our lives are like and how they change us. It’s the image that really gives me a better understanding of what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and how I’m feeling right now.

I use a journal to help me begin building my own self-awareness. I write in it every day for ten minutes or so, and when I have time to reflect, I put a bullet point of a few things I’ve learned, the biggest ones being, “I don’t get enough sleep,” “I have three jobs,” and “I’m tired of sitting in traffic.
