The first step of living a life of mindfulness is to acknowledge that we are living a life. We’re not waiting on life or the other people around us to guide us. We’re living our own life, which should include self-aware of being aware.
This is really the first step of mindfulness. We all know the famous quote from the Buddha, “There is a time for doing, and a time for not doing.” This is the time for living a life of mindfulness. We can do it by reading our own lives, or by listening to people around us, or by taking the time we need to just be with ourselves and appreciate what we are doing.
This isn’t about becoming a better person, though. This is about being a better human. Being aware of our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions on a day-to-day basis, and being able to live with them. This is not about becoming a better person. This is about being a better human.
I love that it’s called “visited page.” This is another way that we’re going to be living a life of mindfulness. We’re all aware that we have routines, impulses, and reactions, and this is another way that we’re going to be living with these habits and impulses.
It’s a great question, and I hope this is not something that you feel is an insult to your intelligence. I’m not sure I can answer it in a way that’s useful to you, but I do think one of the key points you are missing is that we are, in fact, all aware of our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions. We are aware that we have an urge to do something, and we can either do it or not do it.
This is another important point that the majority of people miss. You just took a moment to think about what you are about to do and you are sure that you are going to do it. All that you need to do is think about something for a bit and you are good to go. But when you think about your response to that impulse, you are not sure if you are going to do it, or not. We all have these impulses.
When I was in my teens I did quite a few things that I thought were quite stupid. For instance, I started getting drunk a lot. Some people would say that I was trying to be “cool” and have a “party” every night. Although I never actually did anything like that during my teens, I still think of myself as quite a “party animal” and I feel a little guilty about it.
Like most people, you probably feel a little guilty about not having any specific plans for the night. But the next day, you think about it and you want to go to sleep early because you don’t know what you are going to do the next day.
Not exactly. Like most people, you probably think you are a very laid-back person. But you arent. You are a party animal. The next morning, you feel guilty about not being on the same page as your friends. You think, “hey, I don’t have any plans for the night. I don’t know what I am going to do. I just woke up.
People who are party animals tend to feel guilty about not being on the same page as their friends because of their lack of knowledge. But because you are a party animal, it’s not unusual to be in a party when you are not supposed to be. The whole point of party animals is that you are aware of the rules and you can play by the rules. You are aware of when the rules are being broken, and you can do something to correct them.
