The game’s character is, as the title suggests, an all-powerful god who can make people do things that they would actually not want to have to do. But its not about the god. Its about the player being able to use a god to make you an all-powerful god.
In a classic example of the power of meta-cognition, as the god character is about to do something that will actually kill a human, the player can say, “Hey! I know he’s going to do that! You can stop him!” A couple of things: One, the player never knows that the god character is talking to them, and two, if the god character is talking to the player, they do not know that the player is listening.
We don’t think this is a good idea because of the whole “the player cannot know that the god character is talking to them.” The player is not the god character. This is the first time an “all-powerful” character has been implemented in a game. The god is the player, and the player is not the god.
